structured finance. His former position of global head of project
finance is to be filled by new recruit Patrick Blanchard. Blanchard
comes from Credit Agricole Indosuez and will be based with Vabre in
the Paris office.
?Fortis Bank has lost its head of global head of syndications.
Gary Griffiths is taking up the post of head of primary market
syndication for the UK, Europe, Middle East and South Asia at ANZ.
?West LB's asset management arm, WestAM, have expanded their
Global Emerging Markets Group with the appointment of two
investment analysts. Glen Prentice from KPMG and Daniel Tubbs from
Arthur Anderson are both joining the London team.
?Deutsche Banc Alex Brown has taken on Charles Chigas as senior
originator for the energy, power and project finance sectors.
Chigas comes from Goldman Sachs and replaces Craig Orchant. Orchant
has been named as the new head of project finance in the Americas.
?Barclays Capital has made a number of hires for its project
